I’m an independent artist and potter based in Santa Cruz, California. I am a longtime artist and painter, and up until 2025, painting was my primary focus. I did face painting, sign painting, murals, and of course, traditional canvas paintings- but I never found the consistency to make it into a full-time practice. Then I joined a shared studio space with three ceramicists, and eventually took my first pottery class. I quickly fell in love with the process, wanting to learn as much as I could and get my hands dirty.

Since then, I have spent most of my days in the studio, throwing endless pots and figuring out fun ways to decorate them. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature, and some of my vessel-painting techniques now draw upon my many years working as a face painter. I want my works to bring joy into everyday rituals, so everything is infused with a bit of whimsy.

I am currently working on the infrastructure to sell online, but in the meantime, I sell my work at in-person markets or out of my studio at the Tannery Arts Center.
